Rob Carney is the author of The Book of Drought (Texas Review Press) and eight other books of poetry, as well as Accidental Gardens: New & Revised (Wakefield Press, 2025), a collection of 48 flash essays about place, the environment, and writing poetry. He lives in Salt Lake City.
