Wondering

Artist Statement

The piece, "Wondering" was created from a blackout poem from a page of the book The Fault in Our Stars. I loved the poem by itself, but felt something was missing so I decided to mess around with different digital art techniques until I created this final product. 

Addie Hemsley graduated from Utah State University with her bachelor’s degree in creative writing and will pursue her master's degree at the same school. Her poems have appeared in the Albion Review, Poets Choice, Wingless Dreamer Publisher, and the Wild Sound Writing Festival.
